Caretta Caretta
This participatory mural for Lefkada’s fishing port, Greece, was painted during September 2020. It was created in collaboration with Solidarity Tracks organisation’s international young volunteers. With this mural of the Caretta Caretta turtle, ready to explode as a frag grenade, we wanted to raise awareness about the turtle’s habitat fragmentation issue in the Mediterranean sea.
Ps. We also got the chance to help new turtle hatchlings reach the sea safely during a full moon night 🙂
